We are able to provide Introductory Permaculture Courses or full Permaculture Design Certificate courses as part of a Project Consultancy. Often we provide a combination of these training packages pitched at different target audiences. Training Area Development Staff in the full PDC course, qualifies them to continue teaching permaculture to many more communities, empowering the organisation to develop their strategies and implement their systems more independently. Training community leaders and farmers in rural areas in hands-on techniques specific to their circumstances gives such farmers the opportunity to become more productive using low cost, easily adapted permaculture strategies.
Examples of this type of training can be found in the following report commissioned by World Vision Australia who contracted SCPI to conduct training for the Andean Permaculture Project in Peru, in 2001.
